Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Rochester, New York,

experience required Description: Registered Nurse position in PCU.
Shift hours are 7 PM to 7 AM. This is a 13-week contract. Charting
experience in EPIC is required. Weekend coverage is necessary;
every other weekend. The nurse must be available to work every
other holiday if needed. First-time travelers are accepted.
Candidates will be required to float within their skill set.
Patient ratios are 1:4-5 with adults and geriatrics. The unit
serves long-term pulmonary patients and those who require step-down
level care following surgical procedures. Telehealth, telemetry,
and step-down care experience are essential. Responsibilities
include cardiac monitoring and emergency response. The nurse must
interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively. Candidates should be
proficient in nasal cannula use and oxygen administration.
Management of cardiac drips is required, although no titration will
be done. Blood product administration and central line care are
also necessary skills. Isolation precautions must be followed. The
unit supports various interdisciplinary services, such as physical
therapy and respiratory services. Nurses are expected to engage
with rapid response teams and pharmacy as needed. Navy blue and
white are the acceptable scrub colors. Candidates must possess
strong critical thinking and clinical skills. Experience in
