Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: SMH Level 4 RN OR Neurovascular Moderate Sedation - SMH : L4RN : OR RN Job Details: • Work day shifts with 10 or 12-hour shift options • On-call responsibilities for weekends and nights • Provide moderate sedation nursing care in the operating room • Care for a wide variety of patients across multiple specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma • Work in Level 1 trauma center environment • Utilize 2 DaVinci robots for multi-service procedures • Support transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts • New York RN license required (NY License ONLY) • Moderate sedation experience required • Interventional radiology (IR) experience required • Two years of OR experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital preferred • BLS certification from American Heart Association required Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a Level 1 trauma center providing comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties.
