Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Day/Evening/Night rotating shifts including holidays, weekends, on call, and callback as needed • Care for med/surg boarder patients within the Emergency Department exclusively • Maintain 1:5 patient ratio with assistive personnel support • No Emergency Department experience required • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required • Telemetry experience required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • New York State RN License required (only NY licenses accepted) • Treat diverse patient population with wide variety of diagnoses • Work in fast-paced environment managing high patient volume Facility: This major medical center operates one of the busiest trauma centers in the country, managing over 100,000 visits annually.
