Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel WCS is seeking a Tele RN with Med Surg experience for a travel nursing contract at a prestigious hospital in Rochester, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,100 per week for this role. Job Function: - Day Shift or Night Shift. - 3x12. - Provide telephonic nursing assessment, triage, and guidance to patients based on their symptoms and medical history. - Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate patient care and follow-up. - Document patient interactions and clinical findings accurately in the electronic health record system. - Educate patients on symptom management, medication usage, and when to seek urgent or emergency care. Job Requirements: - Current RN license in the applicable state. - 2 years of nursing experience. - Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
