Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel CT Technologist/n/n Location/n New York, NY /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Monday - Thursday, 8 PM - 6:30 AM EST; on call, callback, holidays per unit needs /n/nJob Description/n The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging by coordinating with physicians, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring a comfortable experience. The role requires adherence to safety policies and accurate record-keeping. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans. /n - Coordinate with physicians to provide necessary diagnostic imaging. /n - Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort. /n - Insert IVs when necessary for assessments. /n - Position patients safely and effectively, particularly those with limited mobility. /n - Document all required components accurately within EPIC and ensure appropriate uploading to PACS system post-exam. /n - Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology. /n - Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). /n - NYS licensure (must be obtained prior to starting the position). /n - Two (2) years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center. /n - BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY). /n - Preference for injection certification, must be completed during orientation. /n - Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment is preferred. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
