Schedule Rotating shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) with weekends, holidays, and on-call duties. This is an excellent unit to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills. Work with our interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment caring for patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barre Syndrome and more. As a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in our region, we see many acute and complex patients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that values nurses' skills, talents, and compassion for our patient population. Responsibilities - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological conditions. - Utilize telemetry experience to monitor patient conditions effectively. - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. - Engage in critical thinking to assess patient needs and respond appropriately. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Two (2) years of nursing experience. - Must possess a Registered Nurse License (NY License ONLY). - BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) certification required. - Telemetry experience is required. - NIHSS certification is highly preferred.
