Pay Information $2,780 per week About The Position Job Title: IR/DX RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Friday - Sunday Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.) Experience: Two years of Registered IR Nursing experience required License: New York RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: Telemetry experience required Description: This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care. Experience with GI post-procedural care is preferred but not required. This role offers an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high-energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging. We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasound.
