Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/15/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n SMH Level 4 RN OR Neurovascular Moderate Sedation - SMH /n/n Job Details: /n • Work rotating day, evening, and night shifts /n• Every other weekend schedule required /n• Holiday, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities per unit needs /n• Provide moderate sedation nursing care in the operating room /n• Care for diverse patient population across multiple specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma /n• Work in Level 1 trauma center environment /n• Operate with 2 DaVinci robots used by multi-services /n• Support transplant program involving liver, kidney, and heart transplants /n• New York RN license required /n• Moderate sedation experience required /n• Interventional radiology (IR) experience required /n• Two years OR experience in Level 1 trauma preferred /n• Ability to scrub preferred /n• BLS certification from American Heart Association required /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center serves as a Level 1 trauma center offering comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties.
