Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit Level II for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/15/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - ICU Stepdown /n/n Job Details: /n • Work rotating shift schedule including days, evenings, and nights /n• Weekend and holiday coverage required /n• On-call and callback responsibilities included /n• Charge nurse responsibilities per unit needs /n• Must have stepdown/PCU experience - required /n• High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience required /n• Experience required with Q1 neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar drains, sub-dural drains, 3%NS and cardene drips, arterial lines /n• Experience with carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coil/clips, DBS insertion (Deep Brain Stimulator), VP shunts, and seizures /n• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required /n• New York RN license required (NY licenses only accepted) /n• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only), ACLS (American Heart Association only) /n• Telemetry experience required /n• Provide competent care based on established standards under direction of Nurse Manager /n• Assume expanded role including potential charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities /n• Start date: 12/15 only /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center is a leading healthcare institution known for excellence in clinical practice, service delivery, professional development, and evidence-based research.
