Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Auto Offer Contract 48HR- 12HR nights, 4 x12 NY License in hand required 75 Mile Radius Rule Night ratios are expected to be 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8 -10 if staff calls in) We have PCT s on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG s and any sort of activity of daily living We have an in-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central lines Years of experience REQ: 1 First-timers accepted: (Y/N) Yes Weekend REQ: EOW Certs REQ: BLS Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) They will try but not guaranteed Special Requirements: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response Teams, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions Patient Diagnosis: Acute respiratory failure, CHF, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, sepsis Special Equipment: BIPAP, CPAP, High Flow, Ventilators, trach, chest tubes Scrub Color: Any combo of navy and white Charting: Epic About Voca Healthcare As a Voca Traveler, you will gain new clinical skills, visit amazing places and meet awesome healthcare professionals.
