Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel 3035103 RN - MS/TELE DESCRIPTION Position: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) Location: Rochester, NY 14626-4182 Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12s – Days - Support Staff: - Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) assist with vitals, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and ADLs. - In-house phlebotomy team performs peripheral lab draws; nurses handle PICC and central line draws. - Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of recent MS/Tele experience. - First-Time Travelers: Accepted. - Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW). - Certifications Required: BLS (AHA). - On-Call Requirement: None. - Floating: Required within scope to similar units as needed. - Block Scheduling: Facility will attempt to accommodate but not guaranteed. - Local Candidates: Not accepted (must reside more than 75 miles from facility). - Pending License: Not accepted. - RTO Restrictions: Maximum of 1 week off during the contract.
