CVICU Nurse Responsibilities - Deliver direct patient care to critically ill cardiac and medical patients in a 16-bed CVICU - Manage complex critical care cases including sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, multi-organ failure, and post-cardiac arrest - Provide advanced therapies such as CRRT, ECMO, LVAD/RVAD, Impella, IABP, and ventilator support - Monitor, titrate, and administer cardiac drips, vasoactive medications, and sedation - Assist with procedures including chest tube insertion/removal, central line care, and arterial line management - Interpret arterial blood gases, dysrhythmias, and 12-lead EKGs - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response - Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR - Float to other intensive care units (ICU) as needed Take the next step in your travel nursing career with this high-demand CVICU Registered Nurse job in Rochester, NY.
