HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist
for a travel assignment in the Main Operating Room in Rochester,
NY. The OR provides care for a wide variety of patients across
multiple surgical specialties, including orthopedics, general
surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic,
GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. The facility
operates two DaVinci robots for multi-specialty procedures and
maintains a comprehensive transplant program for liver, kidney, and
heart surgeries. Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced,
high-acuity environment and capable of both scrub and circulating
duties. Responsibilities: - Assist surgeons and the perioperative
team during a variety of surgical procedures. - Scrub and circulate
for complex cases, including transplant, orthopedic, and specialty
surgeries. - Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper handling
of instruments. - Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure
optimal patient outcomes. - Document procedures accurately and
maintain compliance with hospital protocols. Requirements: - NBSTSA
Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience; Level 1 trauma experience
preferred - Ability to scrub and circulate across multiple surgical
specialties Certifications Required: - BLS – American Heart
