ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - RRT Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Call required, ideally nights once every other week. Weekend coverage is every other weekend, with at least 6 weekend shifts per contract. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to rotate between acute and long-term care settings, providing high-quality respiratory support and diagnostics for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Responsibilities - Perform airway management and suctioning procedures, including endotracheal tube insertion and tracheostomy care. - Administer nebulizer treatments and manage oxygen therapy, including BiPAP and CPAP setups. - Conduct ventilator management and troubleshooting for patients requiring mechanical ventilation. - Participate in patient assessments, pulmonary hygiene, and ABG sampling. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including IV, Physical Therapy, and Emergency Services. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 1 year of experience in adult critical care and emergency department settings. - Certifications: BLS and RRT required. - Preferred experience in community hospitals, teaching hospitals, LTAC, and trauma levels I & II. - Preferred prior experience with a patient ratio of 1:20.
