Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Rochester, NY Start Date: 8/18 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Schedule: 5x8hr shifts (Days, some evenings until 7 PM ET) Weekends, Holidays, and On-Call: None Location: Outpatient ERR facility Join a focused outpatient nuclear medicine team in Rochester as a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist. You will perform diagnostic imaging and therapy procedures for adult patients (16 years), ensuring quality, precision, and patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities: - Review patient history and physician orders - Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and expectations - Position patients and perform nuclear imaging exams (e.g., bone scans, HIDA, thyroid, PET/CT; no nuclear cardiology) - Ensure age-appropriate techniques and image quality - Analyze radiologic data and repeat imaging as necessary upon radiologist recommendation - Enter results and reporting using Epic - Prepare, administer, and safely dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to regulatory protocols - Monitor patients’ condition and escalate concerns to nursing - Maintain stock of nuclear medicine supplies - Maintain professionalism: punctuality, respectful communication, and positive attitude Qualifications: - Certified as CNMT (NMTCB) or ARRT (NM CT certified) - CT Certification (NMTCB?CT or ARRT?CT) required per NYS regulations - Active NYS Radiologic Technologist License - BLS certification (AHA only) - Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience (2 preferred) - PET/CT training required—experience preferred - Epic experience preferred, but not mandatory - Candidates pending NYS license considered; license must be secured before assignment start To learn more or apply, contact HumanEdge Health: Phone: 888?715?4421 Email: Website: us help you elevate your travel career in advanced imaging and nuclear medicine.
