Job Description Job Description Job Title: School Based Primary Therapist Department: School Based Program Location: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School No. 9, and Enrico Fermi School No. 17 Hours Per Week: 40(10 month position) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 SUMMARY: As a Primary Therapist, you are an important resource and trusted confidant for each patient, providing treatment while allowing the patient the highest quality of life. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provides initial and ongoing assessment, counseling and clinical intervention to a designated caseload. - Provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy. - Participates functionally as a member of an interdisciplinary team in coordination and delivery of patient care. - Communicates with relevant internal and external care providers to complete ongoing assessment and to coordinate care. - Participates in and incorporates professional supervision and ongoing education toward quality care. - Completes all required documentation in a timely and comprehensive manner. - Maintains a full caseload, meeting productivity requirements and seeks to keep the incidence of failed appointments to a minimum. - Utilizes efficient computer skills for electronic documentation. - Must obtain licensure or permit in a timely manner. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Masters Degree in Human Services field required - LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT or permit holder in one of these professions required. Limited permit or license required within 1 year of hire PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - 2 years relevant experience preferred. - Experience in a school based setting preferred. - Bilingual(Spanish) preferred - Comfortability using interpreter services(video, and phone) EDUCATION: LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. PAY RANGE: $53,310.00 - $66,420.00 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14607 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
