Schedule 5x8 hour days, on call/callback/holiday per unit needs. Job Description The Interventional Radiology Technologist demonstrates competence in selecting exposure factors and positioning, consistently producing radiologic images of diagnostic quality. The role emphasizes collaboration with department members to resolve issues rapidly, along with a commitment to patient rights and care. Responsibilities - Instruct and prepare patients for examinations and assist Radiologists during procedures. - Operate all equipment competently and report malfunctions to management. - Complete all assigned procedures efficiently and assist with room turnover. - Maintain medication security for authorized personnel only. - Utilize Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS effectively. - Ensure confidentiality using individual passwords and patient care modules. - Answer technical inquiries from physicians or hospital personnel while maintaining professionalism. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - Two (2) years of relevant experience - New York State License (or ability to obtain prior to start) - VIR Certification preferred Why ARMStaffing?
