Pay Information $2,226 per week About The Position Shift: varies; overnights, evenings, days Description: Provide direct patient care and oversight of patient care delivery. Administer medications and accurately transcribe physician orders. Complete thorough documentation of patient care activities, including issues, admissions, assessments, screenings, progress notes, and medications. Supervise and manage patient care assignments. Attend treatment team meetings and acuity meetings during day shifts. Update treatment plans and Nursing Plans of Care (POCs), ensuring timely follow-up interventions and documentation. Train and precept newly hired RNs and supervise their orientation on the unit. Perform documentation audits and address deficiencies in collaboration with staff and nursing supervisors. Complete annual patient assessments for assigned units. Complete probation reports and performance evaluations for LPNs. Provide feedback on performance and evaluations for RN1s, MHTAs, and SHTAs alongside nursing supervisors. Fulfill all required OMH and RPC training. Respond to and manage medical and psychiatric emergencies effectively. Requirements: Valid license and current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State. Current CPR certification.
