Job Description PHP is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/21/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel ED RN/n60-mile radius rule/n36 or 48 hours/nVariable shifts - Days/Nights/n13 weeks/nGraduate from an accredited School of Nursing./nCritical Care and charge experience preferred./nMay begin entry level without Emergency Department experience, but a minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience is required./nMust have the ability to identify and intervene in life threatening situations./nPossesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual./nMust recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to move patients in a safe manner./nMust be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate./nMay be required to assume duties as a charge nurse./nExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required./nCurrent NYS RN license./nBLS and ACLS required./nPALS required or obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer./nMust successfully complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and be defibrillation certified within six months of employment./nMust be IV, medication and phlebotomy certified during orientation./n441071 About PHP At PHP, you are always the first focus!
