We take care of you, so you can take care of others.VHS is looking for a qualified Radiation Technologist - Computed Tomography.City: SyracuseState: NYStart Date: 2025-06-02End Date: 2025-09-02Duration: 13 WeeksShift: 8 Hours Evening shift.Description: Qualifications: A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent NYS license/registration plus one year CT/MRInexperience as a radiologic technologist required. Must successfully pass pre-employment healthnclearance.nDuties: The radiologic tedmologist is responsible for performing radiographic examinations under the directionnof departmental radiologists. The technologist will greet the patient explain to them the examinationnthey are about to undergo position the patient set the proper exposure factors in order to obtain thenrequired quality radiograph. The technologist will also practice appropriate radiation safety andnprotection to assure that patients do not undergo undue radiation exposure. Technologist will also havena sufficient knowledge base to operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively in order to obtainnquality studies and to report any malfunctions with equipment to immediate supervisor. They will alsonbe responsible for processing films inputting information into the Radiology Information System forndocumentation and billing purposes. This position will also be responsible for the proper use of imagingnequipment and following department procedures and protocol as defined in the Policy and ProcedurenManual. This position is mainly responsible for providing radiologic examinations based on referringnphysician and radiologist needs.Notes: Radiologic Technologist - CTW2 Pay Rate: $71.05 *Travel candidates only (50 miles or more from facility)Certification Requirements: Please confirm credential requirements with VHS upon application.At VieMed, Live Your Life isn't just a company tagline.
