• ACLS, BLS, PALS Certified - AHA only
• State License 1 Verification
  • Job Details
  • Surgical Stepdown Unit
  • 3 D/N, EOW SSDU
  • 3X12 or 4x12 shifts
  • 1st-time travelers approved
  • Travel pairs must be flexible with different shifts
  • Rotation is typically 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights. Will not schedule a day and night back to back
  • 24 beds comprised of intermediate care and unit based patients
  • Intermediate Care patients are any surgical or neuro/neurosurgical patients as well as trauma and any patients needing higher level of care between unit level and ICU
  • Vascular Surgery Step Down Unit cares for patients that have undergone vascular surgery such as carotid endarterectomy, fem-pop bypass grafts, amputations and other surgical services
  • This unit functions as overflow for the MSDU and ventilator/high respiratory need patients
    • Job Requirements
    • Surgical Stepdown experience preferred
