Our sole mission is to provide individuals and couples with the best chance for a successful pregnancy and each day we cherish the bonds we form with our patients.We currently have a full time opening for an *Experienced Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist* in our Rochester, New York Facility. The schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:00 pm with a future possibility for a weekend/holiday rotation depending on the growth & needs of the office.*Summary*Provides phlebotomy & clinical assistance to the nursing and physician teams to ensure an effective daily flow of the clinical practice.*Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:*Performs phlebotomy for the first few hours each morning (must be certified!)Handles the intake of new patientsCoordinates clinics for physicians seeing patients in conjunction with the nursing staffSees patients in clinic with the physician and performs basic functions such as vital signsAssists the physicians with procedures (SHG, biopsy, etc.)Chart Prep as directed by the nursing staffMedication Prior AuthorizationsTracks pregnancies for reporting purposesOrders supplies and stocks exam roomsEnters appropriate paperwork and flow sheets into computerHighly motivated and organizedAbility to handle multiple tasks in an efficient, accurate and professional mannerExcellent customer service skillsExcellent computer skills*Education and Experience*Medical Assistant certification requiredPhlebotomy certification required (if not part of medical assistant certification)3-5 Years of medical assistant experienceWomen's health experience preferredInfertility experience a definite plus!Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Disability insurance* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid sick time* Paid time off* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to Friday* Rotating weekendsExperience:* Women's Health: 1 year (Preferred)* Infertility: 1 year (Preferred)* Medical Assisting: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:* Certified Medical Assistant (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Rochester, NY 14626: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
