• Employment Type: Travel Position / Specialty: MS/Tele RN Ratios: Normal Ratios for med/surg, Day and Eve 5:1, Nights 6 or 7:1. Stretch Ratios for Med/Surg Day/Eve 6:1 Nights 9-10:1 We have PCTs on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs and any sort of activity of daily living We have an in-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central lines Years of experience REQ: 1 First-timers accepted: (Y/N) Yes Weekend REQ: EOW Certs REQ: BLS, NIH Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) What is the req? Yes, as needed Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units? Yes - Will not practice outside of scope Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) They will try but not guaranteed Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule? Yes, please inquire for local rate (*** miles) Pending License accepted: (Y/N) Yes effective 9/13 RTO Restrictions: We will not allow more than 1 week RTO in a contract Contracts must go through the New Year No holiday RTO (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Xmas, New Years) The agency nurse will not work all holidays but we need to use our discretion on which holiday we will need the agency nurse to work Guaranteed Hours: 36 Special Requirements: Cardiac Tele required. Heparin protocols. External CPAP/BIPAP, Care of ventilated patient Patient Diagnosis: Acute respiratory failure, CHF, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, sepsis Special Equipment: BIPAP, CPAP, High Flow, Ventilators Epic Preferred Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Short term acute care Teaching Total Staffed Beds: 471 Scrub Color: Any combo of navy and white Charting: Epic #Tier2 Travel Compliance RTO - approved # of jobs in system we can sub multiple allowed Required experience 1 year State License will accept pending NY license Candidates within 50 miles of facility are accepted at reduced rate Candidates will float - yes Charting Experience none required Background policy - reviewed on case-by-case basis Return staff policy 1 year Modules - able to bill for up to 5 hours spent on modulesTrailblazer Staffing Solutions Job ID #20760633.
