employees About This Role: The RN QP is responsible for setting up
PCA services for clients with complex health needs as determined by
their PCA assessment. - The QP develops the client care plan with
input from the Responsible party and assessment document. - They
may be asked to assist with medical trainings if needed. - They
also serve as a resource for the client, RP or PCA on appropriate
program use and other services to help meet the health and safety
needs of the client in the community. - The RN QP may assist in
training, supervision and evaluation of services, as well as
ensuring quality assurance of the PCA services at Accra Care. They
are expected to stay abreast of current policies and changes to the
program, and to participate in committees and meetings to enhance
their knowledge of services beneficial to their clients. - **This
position requires travel to clients homes in the Red Wing and
Northfield area** About You:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred, accompanied by nursing
experience working in a hospital or home-health care setting.
Experience with both adult and pediatric care a plus.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of
Minnesota.
- Willingness to be trained on the services needed by people with
disabilities and the elderly in Minnesota.
- Demonstrated creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving
skills.
- Able to affect change and demonstrate positive leadership.
- High commitment to service and professionalism
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, communication, and
interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to be trained on federal and state statutes
applicable to services for people with disabilities and the elderly
in Minnesota
- Must possess intellectual strength and have a keen
understanding of internal systems needed to support services.
- Must pass a background study with the Minnesota Department of
Human Services. Have a valid driver's license, clean driving record
and reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes.
- Willingness to be trained on home health care requirements,
regulations, and protocols
