Villages of Orleans - Position Summary
Physical Therapist in a 120 bed Skilled Nursing Facility located on the main route in Albion, NY. Spacious environment and a strong, supportive team. Responsibilities include assistance with ensuring the health and well-being of residents by providing physical therapy evaluations and treatments based upon assessment. New York State certification required.
Qualifications
- - - New York State Department of Education Certification and license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State required.
- - - Ability to relate well to residents and enjoy working with the elderly people necessary.
- - - Tact and diplomacy; ability to develop good relationships with residents, staff and students required.
- - - Ability to inspire and motivate others and create a warm and accepting climate for residents necessary.
- - - Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, ability to work well with others required.
- - - Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required.
- - - Ability to supervise departmental staff effectively and ensure that high standards of care are maintained.
- - - Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
