SUMMARY:We are seeking an enthusiastic clinical medical physicist to join a dynamic team offering quality patient-centered care in Rochester, New York. - The area offers excellent schools, nationally recognized universities, and all the entertainment and cultural options of a big city-but with far less stress and an abundance of character and friendliness. - The successful candidate will join a team of - 5 Medical Physicists, - 7 Dosimetrists, and 8 Radiation Oncologists at the Lipson Cancer Institute, offering cancer care across 5 satellite locations.Our centers are equipped with Varian accelerators, GE Big Bore CT scanners, VisionRT, Zeiss INTRABEAM, and a Nucletron HDR afterloader. - Varian Eclipse and Mosaiq are used for treatment planning and R&V. - Several special procedures are offered at our clinics such as cone and MLC-based SRS, SBRT, IORT, HDR (Syed, Tandem & Ovoid, Mammosite), and LDR Brachytherapy. • Master's degree or Ph.D.
• Minimum 3-5 years of progressively more responsible work experience in radiation oncology physics in a clinical environment. -
• Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent.
• New York state licensed -in Therapeutic Radiological Physics (Radiation Oncology Physics).
