Description The Jewish Home Neurobehavioral Rehabilitation
Program is seeking part time Behavioral Specialist to work
day/evenings flexible hours. Behavioral Specialists are active
members of an interdisciplinary team that includes medical
providers, nurses, nursing assistants, recreation therapists and
rehabilitation specialists, and they contribute to quality care and
improve residents' lives in a variety of ways. Behavioral
Specialists collect behavioral information about residents and
develop individualized Behavioral Care Plans that prioritize
proactive approaches to safely address and reduce unsafe resident
behaviors. Behavioral Specialists work closely with Nursing staff
to provide care to residents and consistently engage residents in
meaningful activities and experiences. Behavioral Specialists
utilize evidence-based methodologies that focus on preventive
strategies to assist with crisis intervention, and they are leaders
in the promotion and preservation of safety on the Neurobehavioral
Household.This position requires completion of the equivalent of
two years full-time coursework at a college or university in a
Human Services field required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree
preferred). Must successfully complete Nonviolent Crisis
Intervention training, provided by Jewish Senior Life. The
