Job Description:
SUMMARY As a Nurse (LPN) in Hemodialysis, your specialized skill
set and ability to collaborate with the Registered Nurse is vital
to exceptional patient care.STATUS: Full Time LOCATION: Unity
Campus DEPARTMENT: DialysisSCHEDULE: Day and Evening split shift
with an every other Saturday rotation ATTRIBUTESStrong
communication, customer service and interpersonal skillsWillingness
and ability to work early morning shiftsFriendly, compassionate and
patient focusedRESPONSIBILITIES Patient Care & Evaluation. Conduct
a thorough assessment of each patient s medical status upon
admission and throughout the patient s course of treatment; provide
regular patient status updatesTreatment Administration. Assist in
the implementation of the patient s treatment plan under the
direction of the Registered Nurse (RN); initiate and discontinue
dialysis treatments using multiple access sites; administer IVP
medications to dialysis patientsDocumentation. Complete required
documentation in an accurate and timely mannerNurse, in accordance
with established plans. EDUCATION Nursing Diploma: Nursing
(Required) LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse -
New York State Education Department (NYSED); BLS - Basic Life
Support - American Heart Association (AHA) Rochester Regional
