Minimum Qualifications: Current NYS RN. Valid NYS Drivers' License. Behavioral health background preferred Valid NYS Driver's License. Job Requirements:the RN is responsible for supporting all Physicians with the general medical administrative & programmatic oversight of all clients as it relates to medical compliance. The following duties will apply: Duties 1. Assures that all client's medical files are in compliance with Agency and regulatory policies, practices and procedures, by reviewing all recovery care plans and ensures that documentation is complete. 2. Assist all physicians with provision of treatment as requested. 3. Complete prior-authorizations, observe urine screens of all clients, complete medical health assessments, and all other duties as required by the department. 4. Provide supportive counseling to assist in stabilization of clients. 5. Provide direction, supervision and assistance to LPN's and program staff where there are medical concerns; including on call support where necessary. 6. Responds appropriately to crisis and emergency situations in order to ensure/secure the health and safety of the clients. Adheres to regulatory guidelines and follow-up by appropriate communication and documentation. 7. Participate in general, staff, in-service and supervisory meetings held by the Agency. 8. Conducts other related Agency training as directed and within area of expertise. 9. Perform other duties and functions as directed.
