STATUS: Per Diem LOCATION: Unity Hospital DEPARTMENT: Surgical Pre-Testing SCHEDULE: As needed ATTRIBUTES - Compassionate, warm and patient focused - Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision - Exceptional documentation skills and professional behavior - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment RESPONSIBILITIES - Direction.Assists the Anesthesiologist and Surgeon with the evaluation of presurgical patients including H & P's, ordering of tests, interpretation and plan. - Pre-Testing.Participation in any quality assurance monitors established by management or committee for use in Central Pre-testing. Meets all requirements for professional development as outlined in continuing education staff development packet. Provide guidance and teaching to ancillary personnel which may include mentoring and training to students of accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner programs.
