We have a culture that is guided by our core values.--For Caldwell, this means we will lead in ways that engage our employees and create a passion for our mission in a fun and family-oriented environment.Position Summary--Position SummaryThe position is responsible for the promotion, timely follow-up, & direct (support and servicing) of Caldwell's engineered solutions to the Commercial & residential window and door manufactures within North America & Canada as a front-line manager. --The individual will manage and work together with the independent sales reps and agencies North America and Canada to facilitate an enhance level of expedited support. --this position will be the primary contact person for the independent rep agencies do contact on a daily basis for initial question inquiry that is outside of the responsibility of the customer service representative. This position will not have direct control over setting pricing or strategic account growth. ------------Essential Job Functions and AccountabilitiesProvides independent sales representative with product knowledge.Resolves any issues and questions from independent sales representativesProvides feedback on the performance of the independent sales representatives to the business unit managers.Professionally represent Caldwell within Industry Professional Organizations and events IE AAMA.Maintains outstanding professional demeanor, selling style and appearance.Provides leadership to independent sales representatives and demonstrates outstanding inter-personal skills.Must work the days and necessary hours to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks.--Must be available to communicate with subordinates, supervisors, and any other person or organization with whom interaction is required to accomplish the work and Caldwell goals.Establishes Key Performance Measurements and Sales objectives.Develop a thorough understanding of Caldwell's product offerings and strategy in the selling process.Learn and know all aspects of the business and constantly acquire additional knowledge important to maintain a leadership position in the markets served.Conduct Territory audits to determine market share and build target and development accounts.Continual evaluation of accounts in relation to potential.Ability in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management.Utilizing cooperative, businesslike, professional behavior, earn long-term partnerships.Utilize Time Management processes and organizational skills to maximize selling time.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesCandidate must have ability to work independently, be a self-starter and self-managed.Knowledge of and experience working with professional organizations such as AAMA, AIA, ASTM, ETC.Strong communications skills (written and verbal).Good problem solver, someone who enjoys a difficult problem and demonstrates the ability to solve it.Ability to read and interpret Architectural drawings.Proven track record in growing and developing sales on a continuous basis.Have knowledge of and be skilled with a CRM system.Outstanding negotiation skills.Create skills: able to develop sales tools and presentations utilizing Word, Excel and Power Point.Ability to travel in excess of 50%Foreign language: Spanish is a plus--Educational & Certification RequirementsBachelor of Science or equivalent degree in the field(s) of: Sales or Marketing, Business, Building Construction, Technical Education, Technology or Construction Management.Minimum 5 years of Sales and Sales Management experienceRelevant Industry Certifications are a plus
