Position Title: Network Systems & Cyber Security Manager
Compensation: Full-time, Salary Company Information:ARG is the

the company.Scope & Responsibilities of Network Systems & Cyber
Security Manager: (Not limited to)
- Implements and oversees ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and
change management processes to ensure service continuity and reduce
downtime.
- Responsible for daily administration and availability of the
organization's network by installing, configuring and maintaining
systems & software.
- Monitors network performance, troubleshoots complex issues and
deploys solutions to ensure continuity of service.
- Plans and implements upgrades, patches and installation of new
applications and equipment, as well as, creates and maintains a
disaster recovery plan, ensures data security and contingency back
up plans, and restores plan and policy.
- Develops and implements comprehensive cyber security strategies
to protect the organization's data and infrastructure from cyber
threats.
- Evaluates and integrates Zero Trust Architecture and cloud
security practices (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, M365) into the
organization's cyber security strategy.
- Conducts regular security audits and risk assessments.
- Manages response plans for security incidents and
breaches.
- Leads and mentors a team of network and security
professionals.
- Coordinates with different departments to ensure network and
security needs are met.
- Develops and enforcing network and security policies and
procedures.
- Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
related to network and data security.
- Keeps abreast of the latest industry standards and best
practices in network and cyber security, including CIS, and
NIST.
- Provides training and awareness programs for staff on network
security best practices.
- May lead efforts to evaluate new technologies and perform
analysis/feasibility studies to guide decisions on the best way to
optimize network efficiency and performance.
- Provides leadership in the area of specialization and works on
advanced complex technical projects or business issues requiring
state of the art knowledge.
- Responsible for the architecture of the network, managing
system backups, new solutions & software upgrades.
- Installs, repairs, tests, maintains and monitors computer
programs and systems with a primary focus on servers and networking
components.
- Analyzes data processing requirements, recommends upgrades or
changes and assesses the organization's future networking
needs.
- Designs, builds and maintains various databases used across the
organization; monitors and records incidents and changes.
- Partners with department managers and end users to find and
evaluate ways to automate processes.
- Makes recommendations on device purchasing and negotiates
related contracts; purchases servers and partners with software
providers on matters requiring support.
- Provides input to strategic decisions that directly affect
business outcomes; provides project updates as they affect the
company roadmap and other priorities.
- Prepares annual budgets for hardware, software and matters
affecting employee compensation such as salary and bonus
potential.
- Guides, coaches and otherwise mentor team members to achieve
departmental goals, as well as, professional development.
- Handles day-to-day staffing matters to ensure adequate coverage
and project support during vacations or other unplanned
absences.
- Conducts performance conversations with direct reports and
provide regular feedback as to success &/or challenges.
- Communicates with direct leadership on all matters affecting
project success, employee relations or areas of concern. Benefits

for Network Systems & Cyber Security Manager:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
or related discipline required.
- Seven to ten (7-10) years of technical experience in network
management and cyber security, training &/or equivalent
combination with three (3+) or more years of managerial
experience.
- Excellent understanding of server infrastructure and networking
concepts; in-depth knowledge of diverse operating systems and
platforms. Other Qualifications of Network Systems & Cyber Security
Manager:
- Experienced with hardware and software programs, as well as
designing and building applications.
- Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes;
proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Formal leadership training.
- Root Cause Analysis training.
- Effective team player, capable of coordinating with other
departments and resolving escalated issues arising from
operations.
- Able to understand and follow basic oral and written
instruction, plus ability to communicate instructions to
others.
- Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and problem-solving
capability with high levels of attention to detail. Physical &
Cognitive Demands of Network Systems & Cyber Security Manager:
- Cognitive demands include the ability to meet deadlines, focus
attention, work independently, use independent judgement, work with
a team, communicate effectively, read and comprehend, critical
thinking/troubleshooting.
- Physical demands require seeing, speaking, hearing, sitting,
walk/climb, stand/reach, listen, writing, driving, keyboarding,
push/pull/lift/carry 35 pounds.
