Description: Job Title: Manager Electrical Engineer- FPGA- ( HYBRID) Job Location: Rochester, NY Job Code: CS20232002-97413 L3Harris' Communication Systems segment is currently seeking a Manager Electrical Engineer over FPGA to join our team. This position will be based at our Rochester facility. Position Overview:

• This person will contribute to the company's success by managing and leading a team of 5-7 embedded FPGA engineers developing firmware for wireless communication system applications and products.
• This role will report directly to the Senior Manager of the Rochester Defense Engineering FPGA team and is responsible for the success of managing resources, scheduling, and budgeting for firmware development projects. Essential Responsibilities:
• Management responsibilities for a team of FPGA engineers, including setting goals, time card responsibilities, development plans, and training.
• Responsible for driving teams work to delivery completion and metrics of the team.
• Maintain and drive improvement of FPGA Development processes
• Create FPGA development cost estimates and schedules
• Manage budget and schedule of assigned development projects
• Engage with cross functional teams to define, design, and verify FPGA solutions for radio product development projects.
• Experience developing and verifying FPGA/ASIC based embedded system solutions Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
