Job Description:
This role specifies and implements processes and procedures that
enhance product quality, reduce cost, increase plant efficiency,
and facilitates technology transfer.
What will I do?
Manage and develop a team of employees, engage in meaningful
conversations, build trusted relationships, and provide the
resources, feedback, and development opportunities they need to be
successful
Lead discussions with executive leadership to support high-level
business objectives
Drive the development of innovative processes and technologies
Lead discussions and manage budgets to understand key performance
metrics
Direct business results through statistical analyses and design of
experiments, work with operational teams to improve equipment
up-times and product quality and outputs
Modify equipment to improve operational and/or production areas
Demonstrate business acumen with Merchandising, Artisan, Quality,
and Operations to implement technology solutions
Independently support operational business unit objectives for
various areas in Manufacturing, self-directed once provided with
goals
Review past and current operational trends to predict future
capabilities & utilization rates of process lines; deliver projects
that support operational improvements
Provide business case and financial analysis for business
improvements; design applications that have significant business
and financial impact (ex. merchandising launch)
Required Qualifications
10+ years of Engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
5+ years of FDA or Food Industry experience
Lean Six Sigma - Black Belt Certified
Ability to design or understand automation equipment
Experience managing budgets or capital planning
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering or MBA
Proficient in AutoCAD/3D Modelling
