Job Description:
The responsibility of theDirector of Operationsis not limited to
the following:Responsibilities in Brief: -Board of Directors
-Coordinates and presents necessary information, regularly and on a
quarterly basis to the Board of Directors. -Payroll & Human
Resources-Approves timecards of staff in Kronos on a bi-weekly
basis. Any additional staff requirements for RRH must be followed
up in Workday, ie., annual health screening, knowledge builders.
-Accounts Payable -Administers various accounting payable duties,
payroll (staff and interns), warehouse rent, medication orders,
medical trips reservations, event necessities, vendors including
marketing and media, cloud-based subscriptions. -Accounts
Receivable -Administers deposits and provides the Director of
Development with necessary information to support the role. -Audit
& Taxes -Coordinates the annual audit performed by accounting firm,
bank statements, investment statements, various income statements
and controls examined. Submitted annually.Responsibilities
-Sustainability through RUMS -Collaborates with staff on medical
supply collections, existing and future donation sites, shipments,
payments, marketing and media.Highly skilled and versatile at
managing multiple projects and utilizing data visualization to
achieve both short-term and long-term goals. Manages current
collection sites, process information utilizing data visualization
to develop additional streams of recycled materials. Expands the
footprint of InterVol throughout Western, Northern New York and
beyond. Provides educational presentations to potential recycling
partners and ongoing education as needed to current partners. -RRH
Special Programs -Collaborates with the Board of Directors, the
Director of Development and RRH to provide volunteers, response and
assistance when needed to special projects within the health
system. -Disaster Response -Collaborates with Board of Directors,
the Director of Development and RRH to provide volunteers, response
and immediate assistance with available resources to areas ravaged
by disaster. -Surgical Patients -Collaborates with the Board of
Directors, the Director of Development and RRH to support patients
and their families when traveling to RRH for surgical procedures.
Logistics, travel and credentialing as needed. -Surgical Patients

program has been on hold because of COVID-19 pandemic. The primary
goal of FAB is to teach through civic engagement and service
learning.Events -Supports the Director of Development with
marketing and media, tickets sales, sponsorship, preparation and
day-of-event and day-after event management at the InterVol
Invitational, Off the Vine, Holiday Market, Christmas Gifts Board
and Cooking Class.Desired AttributesPrevious experience in
healthcare, ie., nursing, OR experience, materials management,
helpful but not necessary -Proven track record of using analytical
skills, attention to details, while staying focused on the big
picture -Professional written and oral communication skills
-Ability to present data clearly at various levels -Proficiency in
MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and other MS applications -Strong
interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally and
collaboratively with co-workers, board members, external partners
and members of the health care community -Desire to help those in
needMinimum Qualifications -Bachelor's degree from a four-year
college or university -Minimum 3+ years experience in a fast-paced
management role -Experience with sales and operations planning
-LicensureNYS Driver's license
