DescriptionJob Description:As an Associate Project Manager, you will manage project lifecycles from inception to close including resource scheduling, logistic coordination, cost accounting, invoicing and follow-up for small to mid-size internal and external customers.Job Responsibilities:

  • Run small to mid-size projects from initial Statement of Work (SOW) to completion including time management, scheduling, change orders, and project financials
  • Utilize Professional Services Automation tools, spreadsheets and other office automation software to manage projects
  • Work with the Sales, Presales and Engineering teams to ensure that all project related documents, including Statements of Work, customer purchase orders, timesheets, change orders and job costing documents are properly completed
  • Work with internal constituents and customers to define resource requirements, prioritize and develop schedules
  • Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones
  • Manage all project communication with customers and internal teams providing updates to customers regarding status of projects related to install and hardware availability
  • Conduct internal kickoff, external kickoff and regular project status meetings with customers
  • Receive, schedule, and manage services requests post install
  • Maintain install schedule of delivery team
  • Monitor and track product availability on a project by project basis
    Work closely with warehouse team to facilitate delivery and pick up of hardware, return of hardware, and inventory allocations
  • Work closely with Inside Sales team to release orders, update product to new SKUs, internal change orders, and RMAs
  • Work with vendors on RMAs from the field and advanced replacements
  • Work with subcontractors to supplement work force as needed
  • Coordinate T&E for delivery team
  • Efficiently identify and solve project issues
  • Keep management informed of any issues related to project
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
  • Effectively apply ePlus project management methodology and enforce project standards
  • Minimize our exposure and risk on project
  • Manage project budget and forecasting
  • Track and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basis
  • Assure project legal documents are completed and signed
  • Obtain project completion signatures and ensure timely invoicing

      • Proven history delivering small and mid-size projects with hands-on project management experience
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
      • Strong organizational and customer service skills.

      • Knowledge of project management methodology
      • Knowledge of Microsoft Project preferredEducation and Experience:
        • 2-5 years of experience in an operations or project management role in an IT environment
        • Desire to achieve CAPM or PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification -Physical Requirements of Position:Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and / or fingers. Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery. Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time.
