- Work collaboratively with Saunders College faculty, staff and
students to develop thorough understanding of SCB programs.
- Work collaboratively with Saunders College faculty, staff and
students to identify opportunities between Saunders College and
external business organizations that could include internships,
research projects, capstone projects, business competitions, and
other student/faculty engagements (e.g., speakers, mentoring,
- Serve as point person for inquiries from potential corporate
partners and present potential engagement opportunities to college
faculty, staff, students and alumni.
- Assist with coordination of sponsorships for college events and
activities, including potential industry events Saunders may
- Help develop portfolio of partnership opportunities between
business organization partners and Saunders community. Build and
maintain pipeline of business organization contacts.
- Support RIT Career Services efforts on student placement and
actively participate in recruitment activities and events.
- Work collaboratively with Career Services on sustaining and
growing employer connections and partnerships associated with
Saunders College, as well as support of employer contact
information, employer surveys, advisory board membership and other
employer-related engagement activities and data.
- Work collaboratively with student clubs and departments to
develop activities and events in support of business development
(e.g., seminar series, business competitions). Manage budget for
student club initiatives.
- Maintain strong understanding of current business trends and
match against Saunders programs and offerings.
- Analyze and use data (internal and external) to identify
opportunities and support college initiatives.

Summary:Potential candidate must have strong understanding of
contemporary industry and business trends and how they align with
programs, offerings and activities in Saunders College. This is a
30/week position with full-time benefits, reporting directly to SCB
Dean.Research, identify and develop collaborative business
opportunities (e.g., analytics, FinTech, marketing, hospitality,
supply chain, etc.) between Saunders College students and faculty
and business organizations that could include internships, research
projects, capstone projects, business competitions, and other
student/faculty engagement opportunities (e.g., speakers,
mentoring, company visits). Potential candidate will be responsible
- Fostering and growing existing relationships as well as
developing new opportunities.
- Supporting student placement activities, working with student
clubs to support relationship building, developing and managing
seminars and events (e.g., industry seminar series), and securing
potential funding in support of some of these initiatives.
- Analyzing and using data sources to drive student placement and
business development opportunities.
