Look for people with Product Marketing experience Job Description Required Experiences and Education: A demonstrated track record of managing projects. Demonstrated success in working with minimal supervision. Demonstrated track record of leading multi-functional teams. Work experience in a Commercial function. General Bachelor's Degree preferred but will take a lower degree with relevant experience Entrepreneurial mindset. Working knowledge of image editing and manipulation software. Role Purpose: The MASTERPIX photo on glass program is a business built to provide direct sales to consumers and commercial prospects via eCommerce (the MASTERPIX website). The products currently include glossy and matte Gorilla Glass prints in various sizes to support photo industry needs. The Product Line could extend to include other glasses and/or finishes to achieve lower cost or different performance. The Product Line Specialist has a responsibility to assist in the development and execution of a product line strategy that supports the achievement of desired product line sales growth and profitability for the growing global business. Key Responsibilities: -Key member of a team consisting of functional leads from Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales, IT, Finance, Legal, Development (when needed) and Masterpix Business Manager to: -Participate in the development and execution of a global strategy for the photo business. -Participate in the development and execution of the product line roadmap in support of the newly developed Masterpix sub-branding strategy. -Participate in the design and execution of a pricing strategy for each channel. -Participate in the development and execution of the product line planning process, including the identification of critical projects to be undertaken for the year. -Find the optimal solution (balancing the needs of the client and the customer) to all product issues related to performance (i.e., specs, attributes, services), quality, share growth, and customer needs. -Manage the contract manufacturer relationships to ensure optimal customer service and costs. -Execute the brand strategy. -Understand downstream market requirements and assess competitive threats and implications for the business. -Create long-term forecasting plans The PLS identifies the best mix for the market segments through effective segmentation and portfolio rationalization. -Optimizes inventory management related to the product line by coordinating information flow, as needed, between Forecasting, Manufacturing, and other parties as needed. -May get involved in supply chain disruption issues to influence or make decisions on global order and Development/ Manufacturing prioritization. Works with Manufacturing to identify opportunities to reduce complexity and cost reduction in the manufacturing process both at the Client's contract manufacturers and with customers, as appropriate. -Further, the PLS -Addresses new product/special requests by developing a business case (including PandL and balance sheet implications) to determine the feasibility and pricing requirements of the requests. -Participates in pricing levels by establishing pricing structure, optimizing product premiums, and ensuring value received for the product line. -Works closely with the Business Manager to set direction and approve creative updates, marketing plans, tradeshow participation and material, promotions, etc. -Is an individual contributor that delivers high-quality products to customers with minimal supervision. -Develops and distributes monthly metrics on sales, markets, and profitability. Desired Experience: -eCommerce experience. -Demonstrated creativity -Ability to think outside the box, and try new marketing ideas. -Interest in photography/art. -Financial analysis and accounting experience. -Work experience in a commercial group. -International business work experience. -Shopify experience or other web-based order processing.
