OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE As the AD/Director, RG&H TAU Business Operations you will be operational partner to the Chief of Staff and Rare Genetics & Hematology Functional Team, managing all Business Operations activities for the Therapeutic Area Unit. Responsibilities: Manage the Rare Genetics & Hematology TAU Administration and Infrastructure Management of metrics & KPI reporting needs to support Operational Performance monitoring Management and tactical execution of Rare Genetics & Hematology Communications in partnership with CoS, R&D, PVPS & Corporate Communications. Management and tactical execution of specific Rare Genetics & Hematology TAU forums, including annual TAU Summit and certain Patient Events Manage all Rare Genetics & Hematology TAU consulting activities and HCP/KOL interactions Strategic planning all corporate sponsorships and educational grants with TA portfolio strategy Special operational assignments to R&D-wide projects GOALS: The Director, RG&H TAU Business Operations serves as operational partner to the Chief of Staff and Rare Genetics & Hematology Functional Team, managing all Business Operations activities for the Therapeutic Area Unit, including: Manage the Rare Genetics & Hematology TAU Administration and Infrastructure Management of metrics & KPI reporting needs to support Operational Performance monitoring Management and tactical execution of Rare Genetics & Hematology Communications in partnership with CoS, R&D, PVPS & Corporate Communications. Management and tactical execution of specific Rare Genetics & Hematology TAU forums, including annual TAU Summit and certain Patient Events Manage all Rare Genetics & Hematology TAU consulting activities and HCP/KOL interactions Strategic planning all corporate sponsorships and educational grants with TA portfolio strategy Special operational assignments to R&D-wide projects EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree in science or business related field MBA and PMP Certification is a plus 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. 5 years experience as a project manager with demonstrated experience leading multiple complex projects in a global environment Track record to positively influence through the matrix Identify business risks and facilitate risk mitigation/issue resolution Experienced direct line manager including mentoring and development Experience with Microsoft Project Professional, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint & Word Fluent in English Guide within and cross-cultural, global team structures Work in a virtual setting/across time-zones, i.e., making use of communication tools (TelePresence, telephone and video conferencing) Work in complex, multicultural environment TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Occasional travel, may be domestic or international Effective November 1, 2021, absent an approved religious or medical reason, all US office-based and lab-based Takeda employees who work fully on-site or in a hybrid model (as determined by Takeda) must be fully vaccinated to work at a Takeda site or to engage with Takeda colleagues or anyone else on behalf of Takeda.
