A typical day will include:POSITION OBJECTIVES:

  • Proactively contributes to the overall operational strategy and planning decisions for the MST
  • Partners with MPMs to build and maintain MST project plans in enterprise project management system.
  • Management of spend against projects (tracking milestones, ensuring invoices are processed, paid and accrued)
  • Coordination of MST meeting schedule, maintaining action item logs and production of meeting summaries
  • Partner with the MPM to develop & maintain MST risk management plans
  • Provide support for key planning activities; project reporting; milestone tracking; budget oversight; maintenance of operational platforms; training and change management.
  • Supports process improvements to project management processes and systems.

    • Medical Strategic Team (MST) operational management -
    • Ensuring project management systems are up to date and in line with MST plans ( timeline, goals, tactics, team rosters)
    • Responsible for operational and reporting logistics of the MST (including but not limited to: meeting schedule management, coordinating meeting materials, capture action items and deliverables, distribution of minutes, and maintenance of MST SharePoint site (or equivalent))
    • Maintenance and tracking of MST/program budgets, including but not limited
    • Consolidation, vetting and prioritization of MST spending risks and opportunities, and in collaboration with functional team members
    • Problem solve for project setup issues in Ariba P2P (contracts, vendors, vetting, compliance review to PO generation)-
    • Oversee the life of the PO (first invoice to final payment), ensure timely completion and outstanding items are resolved
    • Supports project status reporting and dashboards in enterprise project management system.
    • Generates collaboration, cooperation and communication across- functions, support team goals
    • Maintain expert knowledge of all Takeda systems relevant to CMO/GMA in support of MST deliverables
    • Ad-hoc requests in support of MSTEDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
      • Bachelor's Degree in business management or related field
      • 3+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience.-
      • At least 2 years' experience as a project coordinator/manager focused on project deliverables in a multi-disciplinary environment.
      • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and program management experience in cross-functional, global projects within Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, or other drug development related function
      • Knowledge of performance measurement (e.g. metrics, dashboards)
      • Experience managing program level budgets across multiple projects
      • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines governing medical affairs
