The Position: We're seeking qualified individuals who are self-motivated, team players, and have a true understanding of service. Our ideal candidate would have account management experience in the benefits and insurance industry, including New York State health and welfare benefits (medical & ancillary), the Affordable Care Act, alternate funding arrangements, as well as experience with public speaking. Other duties may be assigned. Provide professional, unparalleled customer service to our clients, carriers, agents, and vendors. Develop trusting relationships with clients through a thorough understanding of customer needs, while continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives. Educate and provide guidance to clients, carriers, agents, and vendors on the services provided by Bond Serve as a communication link between clients and Bond's internal teams. Manage and retain an assigned book of group insurance business. Interact with carriers, agents, and vendors to manage and maintain relationships. Advocate on behalf of our clients and their employees with carriers, vendors, and within our internal processes. Expand depth of knowledge and attention to detail to deliver accurate service and manage expectations appropriately. Execute quick decisions with regard to waiving or deviating from established policies or procedures to ensure exceptional customer service. Prepare client quotes for group insurance products by analyzing client bills; creating comparisons; conducting financial analysis; and, selecting plan options Prepare and present client benefit renewals. Prepare and conduct client enrollment meetings to present benefit options to clients' employees. Maintain focus on client satisfaction and retention. - Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University and one to three years related experience managing clients with 25 or more employees is required. Experience/knowledge of non-medical benefits is preferred. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Current Life and Health Insurance License and valid driver's license are required in order to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position. Other Qualifications Travel, approximately 40-60% in the Upstate New York area is required in order to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position. Job Type: Full-time
