Associates, we are a multidisciplinary design services firm with
nine locations nationwide. Our services span civil/site
engineering, transportation engineering, electrical engineering,
landscape architecture, architecture, planning, environmental
services, land surveying, GIS, construction inspection, precast,
and construction engineering, each offering opportunities to shape
communities and improve lives. What You’ll Do as a Bridge Engineer
Support bridge design engineering, including load rating,
structural analysis, and foundation design. Develop design plans,
construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates for
bridge and transportation structures. Maintain detailed records of
bridge design documents, reports, and budgets. Support project
managers with schedules, documentation, and presentations. Ensure
designs adhere to state and local standards, regulations and safety
codes. Promote, utilize and support QA/QC processes to guarantee
quality deliverables. Assist with field inspections and prepare
detailed bridge inspection reports and analyze foundation design.
Provide technical support during construction, respond to RFIs and
attend site visits. Collaborate with internal teams, clients,
subconsultants and agencies to ensure seamless project delivery.
Requirements: What You Bring, Your Expertise as a Bridge Engineer
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, Master’s
preferred 0-5 years of transportation experience, structures/bridge
design engineering experience preferred EIT preferred or ability to
obtain it Proficiency in MicroStation, STAAD and Bridge Design
Software Familiarity with state DOT design standards (NYSDOT or
PennDOT) preferred Professional performance aligned with Fisher’s

$74,500-$88,000 annually Actual compensation may vary based on
relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors.
