Job Description Job Description EXO Talent Partners is supporting a leading aerospace manufacturer on a senior-level manufacturing engineering role focused on complex, precision-machined components for military aircraft programs. This is a hands-on role , not a desk-only engineering position. You’ll own manufacturing processes end-to-end and work closely with machining, quality, and engineering teams to develop and improve advanced 5-axis CNC operations. What You’ll Do Lead manufacturing process development for complex 5-axis milled aerospace components Own CNC programming, operation sequencing, tooling, fixturing, and detailed work instructions Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) in partnership with design engineering Support and improve existing production through direct shop-floor engagement Estimate cycle times, labor standards, and cost for new and existing programs Evaluate and implement new equipment, automation, and manufacturing technologies Collaborate daily with engineering, operations, quality, and suppliers Lead projects and support continuous improvement within a dedicated manufacturing cell What We’re Looking For Strong hands-on experience with 5-Axis CNC Milling CAD/CAM programming experience (NX preferred; comparable systems considered) Proven end-to-end process engineering background (raw material ? finished part) Hands-on machining experience, including setup and prove-out Experience machining aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and similar materials Deep understanding of cutting tools, workholding, and fixture design Aerospace, defense, or other high-precision manufacturing experience preferred Willingness to work onsite in the Buffalo / East Aurora, NY area Compensation & Benefits Annual profit sharing and bonus eligibility Relocation assistance (lump sum) 401(k) with company match Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Tuition assistance and long-term career development opportunities Why This Role This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact manufacturing engineering role with real ownership, technical depth, and long-term stability.
