Nesco Resource is seeking an Engineering Administrator for a long-term assignment at our client's West side manufacturing facility! -

Pay Rate: $21-$23/hr

Job Summary:
Engineering Administrator position supporting our growing Engineering team and new projects. Rochester NY, on-site work location, very stable and successful manufacturing company! Metal fabrication shop floor production environment, with a flexible daytime work schedule! Handles all aspects of document control for the Product and Manufacturing Engineering. -

Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Inputs drawings electronically into data storage by scanning and indexing them into a Product Data Management system (SolidWorks PDM Pro)
  
• Maintains access to the latest document revisions.
  
• Prepares Manufacturing Order folders and tags for shop floor fabrication
  
• Maintains drawing distribution form for drawing revision control on shop floor
  
• Arranges and coordinates data retention of order files, drawings and other related documents for storage and retrieval
  
• Assist Engineering Manager and Operations Team with visual presentation tools in support of Lean activities. -(This may include creation/maintenance of data in charts, visual scheduling, etc.)
  
• Assist in transition from paper to electronic documentation -
  
• General admin support for Engineering Team
