The Senior Process Yield Engineer will assist the TWC and Yield Integration team. The position involves working with operations generating and reviewing trim tables. The candidate will work on continuous improvement projects to improve device yields and wafer uniformity. They will work with operations, process engineering and device engineering evaluating TWC results on New Product Integration (NPI) products. The position involves analyzing manufacturing data sets to evaluate yield loss and provide recommendations to product and device engineering. This role will coordinate New Product Integration (NPI) results with device R&D and process engineering to recommend improvements to meet customer specifications .
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Analyze data sets and identify sources for yield loss, report yield trends and recommend yield improvements.
  
  
• 
  Review and track yield improvement initiatives.
  
  
• 
  Report predicated yields to management.
  
  
• 
  Lead cross functional teams understanding yield issues.
  
  
• 
  Review design and device issues with R&D to achieve product specifications.
  
  
• 
  Review manufacturing yield and collaborate on implementation of yield enhancements.
  
  
• 
  Utilize SPC's and structured problem solving to assist in ramping products.
  
  
• 
  Work with R&D and process engineering performs risk assessments correlating process capability with product requirements.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with process engineers to understand process variation and recommend SPC limits.
  
  
• 
  Facilitate root cause failure analysis to resolve issues contributing to low yield lots.
  
  
• 
  Identify process excursions and resolve maverick lot issues.
  
  
• 
  Develop metrics to report to management.
  
  
• 
  Generate scripts aiding in data analysis.
  
  
• 
  Participate in lean manufacturing concepts to drive yield improvements and improve product manufacturability
  
  
• 
  Apply statistical process control on critical parameters; sustain, evaluate and improve current processes.
  
  
• 
  Define and implement product Out of Control Action Plans
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all internal safety, HR, environmental and quality guidelines and procedures.

  Maintain a working knowledge of safety policies and company regulation to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner, as well as other reasonable duties as assigned.
  
  
  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Microelectronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
    
    
  • 
    Minimum 5 year's experience in Yield Engineering.
    
    
  • 
    Proficiency in statistics and data analysis (JMP).
    
    
  • 
    Aptitude with programing and scripting,(JMP, Python)
    
    
  • 
    Demonstrated data mining, data analysis, and reporting skills.
    
    
  • 
    Experienced in failure analysis methodologies.
    
    
  • 
    Successful program management leading cross function teams.
    
    
  • 
    Strong organizational skills and attention to details
    
    
  • 
    Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    
    
  • 
    Experience in MEMS or semiconductor processing is a plus.
