_Sunoco LP offers a sign on bonus for experienced Truck Drivers and Mechanics in designated areas. Eligible drivers will have at least eighteen (18) months of verifiable driving experience (Class A); __*and mechanics will have at least two (2) years of verifiable mechanic experience. A sign-on bonus amount of up to $10,000.00 is paid in incremental amounts based on experience and completed time *__of service with no incidents or accidents. The areas in which the sign-on bonus will be paid are at the sole discretion of Sunoco LP and can be ended or changed as warranted by business needs.__Sunoco LP will pay eligible drivers and mechanics a sign-on bonus in the increments listed below, as long as they meet the following guidelines: __--- No spills __--- No accidents __--- No product contaminations __--- No violations of safety policies/procedures, State or Federal Regulations or Company Rules of Conduct _Any driver or mechanic who fails to meet these requirements will not be eligible for the sign-on bonus payout.*Bonus potential: **--- $5,000 for drivers with 18 months to 2 years of verifiable experience and mechanics with 2 years of verifiable experience . **--- $7,500 for drivers or mechanics with 2+ to 3 years of verifiable experience **--- $10,000 for drivers or mechanics with 3+ years of verifiable experience **Job Summary: *Diagnose, maintenance, and repair problems on the major components and systems such as:* Engine* Brake System* Transmission* Air System* Differential* Electrical System* Perform, repair, and preventative maintenance work on the following items, both tractor and trailer:* Brakes* Cab* Engine* Fifth Wheel* Transmission* Delivery Equipment* Suspensions* AC and Air Systems* Clutch* Tires/Axles/Wheels* Other Responsibilities:* Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with major components* Maintain accurate records of P.M. services and repair work* Perform occasional road service* Schedule work through the shop to maintain P.M. schedule, scheduled repair work, and State and Federal vehicle inspections* Oversee repair work done by outside vendors* Perform running repairs, P.M. services, State and Federal Inspections Tractors, Trailers, and Straight Trucks*Requirements: ** Working knowledge of the systems and components listed above* Experience dealing with parts and service vendors* Maintaining vehicle maintenance records, state inspections and P.M. scheduling* Must have a HS diploma or GED* Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements* Minimum of three years of experience in heavy truck and trailer maintenance and repaireoeJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time offSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:* Bonus pay* Signing bonusExperience:* Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)* Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
