The role of the Technical Support Engineer is to assist both internal and external stakeholders with highly technical questions and issues relating to both Access Control (ACS) and Video Management Systems (VMS) (CCTV). The engineer will rely on unique problem-solving skills, as well as experience, to troubleshoot, configure, and maintain enterprise-level access control, video system, and database applications.As the Technical Support Engineer, your day to day would include:* Detailed documentation of root cause and steps towards resolution.* Troubleshoot system/network related issues over the phone with customers and vendors.* Troubleshoot database-related issues with internal customer teams* Write and Execute complex SQL queries to gather informationIdeally, you would have the following skills & qualifications:* Certified and/or expert-level knowledge in Lenel* 5+ years of security industry experience.* Certification in other systems (CCURE, Genetec, Avigilon, etc) are a bonus* Understand segmentation or partitioning in a system* Experienced in configuring networks* Experience and understanding of enterprise system architecture* Understanding of how to troubleshoot hardware issuesIf you are an expert in Lenel and seeking your next opportunity, or you would like more information, click Apply Now.
