Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time Physical Therapist position offers an opportunity to work onsite within a K-12 school setting in Rochester, NY. The role involves providing therapeutic services primarily to students across the K-12 spectrum, including a small number of preschool-aged children. The caseload mostly serves students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), requiring specialized skills and a compassionate approach. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing physical therapy programs tailored to individual student needs. Collaboration with educational staff and parents is essential to support student progress and promote functional independence. The position typically requires 4-5 days per week on-site, with a set schedule from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The main assignment will be at one school building for four days weekly, with an option to increase to full-time hours by taking an additional day at another school. The caseload consists of 19 students, providing the therapist with a focused group to serve effectively.
