Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do

school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is
available at a high school in Canandaigua, NY, for the upcoming
school year. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with
adolescent students in a dynamic educational environment,
supporting their communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language,
and communication disorders in high school students Develop
individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to
enhance student outcomes Maintain accurate documentation of student
progress and compliance with educational standards Participate in
Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute
professional recommendations Implement evidence-based interventions
that support student communication goals Qualifications and
Experience: Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification or
license applicable to schools Experience working as an SLP within a
school setting, preferably with adolescents Strong understanding of
speech and language development and related disorders Ability to
communicate effectively with students, families, and educational
staff Familiarity with educational regulations and IEP process
Commitment to professional development and collaborative practice
