Enjoy hands-on work and keeping things running smoothly? As a Reefer Technician, you’ll ensure our refrigerated trailers are in top condition and ready to roll! Location: Syracuse, NY Job Summary: The Transportation Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for all maintenance on our fleet of over 160 trucks. Duties and Responsibilities: Performing preventative maintenance and required repairs on G&C-owned diesel equipment such as Yard Trucks, Trailers, and Road Tractors Performing minor repairs to G&C Leased equipment when necessary Assist the Transportation Maintenance Supervisor with repairing the washing equipment Assist with other duties as assigned Qualifications: 2-6 years of experience in Reefer Trailer Repair Air Brake Certification preferred Diesel Engine Certification preferred Reefer Experience required NYS Driver’s License required CDL A or CDL B preferred Inspectors' License preferred Must have basic mechanical tools Why Build Your Career at G&C Foods?
